We have some good ‘P’s already but I wanted to get this one out of the system, an almost symmetrical composition.
Some further exploration needs to be done on the characters that make the feathers. I currently enjoy the simplicity of only using maybe two different faces, composited through varying weights. I think I’ll next look at the feathers rendered through less condensed characters and possibly some roman serif characters.
Due to hunting and a reduction in extent and quality of habitat, the Green Peafowl is evaluated as Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The world population in the wild was estimated to be about 5,000 to 10,000 individuals around 1995.
