S is for Squirrel

Snake may seem like the obvious answer to the letter ‘S’, but there is something i really like about the bushy tail of a squirrel.  It should probably be bigger than my scribble here.  I did try doing a similar layout up the side of the page, so it looked like the squirrel was running up a tree, but i didn’t quite manage to get it to work. Room for improvement, but i still think there is something in this.

The Red Giant Flying Squirrel was considered common in Singapore in the earlier part of the 20th century. However, it has not been seen here for over 20 years, prompting fears that it may already be extinct. The last two sightings were in 1982 and 1986, in the Bukit Timah and Central Catchment Nature Reserves, respectively.
