L is for Locust

In order to create the feeling of a leg either side of the body, could we do a pass on the far leg first, then the body and then the near leg?  Need to find the right slightly curved ‘L’ for the antenna.

Found this on a page of Hamilton’s type.  Possibility for body of locust?
It is estimated that around three to four million hectares of land are now infested by locusts in West Africa, with Mauritania being the worst hit country. In Mauritania an estimated 1.6 million hectares are infested, representing the bulk of the desert country’s exploitable lands.
