K is for Kangaroo

 

A long tail to the main ‘K’ is important here. This could be difficult to find in wood block. Main head and baby head should be the same typeface if possible.  Could work better if the serif of the main ‘K’ curved round at the top and joined the main stem as it might make it look more like the Kangaroo’s body?

Over the next 50 years or so, the temperature in Australia is predicted to rise by about 2 to 6 degrees Celsius. While this may not seem like much on paper, new ecological studies show that most kangaroo species are endangered by this future shift.
